Elizabeth Hitchcock   Richard Hitchcock   Peter Hitchcock   Mary Hedgcock

It seems likely that Elizabeth, born about 1749,  Richard, born about 1753, and Peter, born about 1756, were siblings.  Elizabeth and Richard both married at St.Elphin's, the parish church of Warrington, during the 1770s and all three were raising families in Warrington and baptising (and burying) their children at St.Elphin's between the 1770s and 1790s.

If these three were siblings they could have been the children of John Hitchcock, a fishmonger who died aged 70 in Warrington in 1782 and possibly of Betty Hitchcock, a widow, who died also in Warrington in 1790 aged 75.

Mary Hedgcock could have been the daughter of either Peter or  Richard as they had daughters named Mary who were born in 1790 and 1794 respectively.  However a Mary was also born to a Thomas Hitchcock and baptised at the nearby Manchester Cathedral in 1793,
